The Spares AOG Coordinator is responsible for leading rapid response activities to support Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) events and urgent customer spares demands. This role focuses on quickly identifying and sourcing replacement parts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate system updates to minimize aircraft downtime. The coordinator provides full support to Product Support Engineering (PSE), Customer Support Engineering (CSE), satellite warehouses, and key operational sites such as Mirabel and Fort Worth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain after hour availability for AOG support.
• Respond promptly to urgent customer demands, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and rapid resolution.
• Work effectively in time-critical environments to minimize aircraft downtime.
Parts Identification & Coordination:
• Search for and identify suitable replacement parts using internal systems, engineering data, and approved alternatives.
• Coordinate with PSE, CSE, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, and other internal groups to secure required parts and solutions.
• Provide support to satellite warehouses, ensuring they have the parts, information, and guidance needed to support AOG and routine operations.
Systems & Data Management:
• Use Lightweight Viewer with basic proficiency to review and manage part and aircraft-related information.
• Use Enovia with basic proficiency to access engineering data, configurations, and related documentation.
• Ensure that service directives required parts are loaded correctly into applicable systems and that required follow-up actions are tracked to closure.
Stakeholder & Customer Interaction:
• Build and maintain a strong network of contacts at key locations (including Mirabel and Fort Worth) to expedite information flow and problem resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple internal groups and functions to drive alignment and coordinated responses.
• Interact professionally with upper management, providing concise status updates, escalation details, and recommendations on critical issues.
• Support PSE and CSE requirements, ensuring technical and customer support needs are understood and met.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving:
• Act as a proactive problem solver, identifying root causes of recurring AOG and spares issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance response times, data accuracy, and coordination across teams.
• Share best practices and mentor less experienced team members in AOG coordination and spares processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in aviation, aerospace, logistics, supply chain, customer support, or a closely related field, preferably in a senior or advanced-level capacity.
• Basic working knowledge of: SAP ECC, Salesforce, Lightweight Viewer, Enovia.
• Proven ability to: respond quickly and professionally to urgent customer demands, collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups, interact confidently with upper management and technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow-up, documentation accuracy, and closure of open actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Highschool or college diploma.
• Prior experience in AOG support, spares provisioning, or technical customer support in an aerospace environment.
• Familiarity with Bell service directive processes and documentation requirements.
• Experience supporting satellite warehouses or distributed inventory
