Coordinator, Transportation Area - 250 Day

This position is highly skilled, managerial work. The employee plans and coordinates an assigned area of Transportation to assure the safe and efficient transportation of students in Prince William County Public Schools. This position supervises, schedules, and assesses personnel directly in the provision of services. This position is responsible for the overall management of bus routes, load levels, and daily operations, and provides guidance to route managers, routing analysts, and bus dispatchers in resolving other operational tasks. This position provides leadership and supervision to subordinates within the section. This position serves as the basic public relations facilitator between the Transportation Department and the general public.
