Cook and Food Inventory Specialist

The Portal Bar-Cade is not just an arcade but a cafe with a cool menu and full bar. We are family friendly during the day and have a night-life vibe at night. We are currently seeking a person with cook experience who can take our food program under their wings. place weekly supply order make sure all prep is done (prep is very minimal.) set up stations and break them down. temp test coolers and warmers make sure online ordering is active and item availability is up to date. bar back as needed. cross train on bar to help as needed (optional.) keep facility clean and organized. come up with food specials. make sure all health department rules and procedures are followed (date stickers etc) Soft skills: reliability, attention to detail, courteous personality. Note: we have an open kitchen that operates behind the bar. We offer $18 an hour plus tip out which would create an average of $21-$28/hr. We offer scheduled raises. Our pay rate is negotiable with a quality candidate. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
