Conveyor Belt Fabricator -in warehouse- / Warehouseman

Position Summary The Conveyor Belt Fabricator position is responsible for pulling, picking, and fabricating conveyor belt assemblies as well as packaging products for shipping. This position ensures inventory accuracy, maintains warehouse organization, and supports daily processing of orders while adhering to safety and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Slitting belt, lacing belt and cleating belt using in-house equipment. Pick, pack, and stage materials for production, customer orders, or internal distribution. Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders according to customer and carrier requirements. Return unused materials to designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper inventory control. Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment safely. Assist with fabricating hoses as well as picking, packing, and pulling orders when needed. Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and general facility support as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have previous experience in fabricating conveyor belt assemblies. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred. Ability to read work orders and handle fabrication based on details listed on work order. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to read a tape measure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Hand tools experience a must. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Working Conditions This position works primarily in a warehouse environment and may require occasional overtime to meet shipping schedules, inventory requirements, and business demands. This is a drug free workplace.
