Convenience Store Worker at the University of Denver (DU). Location: Located on the beautiful campus of the University of Denver in Denver, CO, 2055 E. Evans Ave., Denver, CO 80210. Min/Max: $22-$22.50 Availability : Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 10 pm Qualifications: Enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is zoned, in stock, available, and accurately priced in the store. Inventory management. Understand and show guests how to use the Everyday app and the other features and offerings within the app. Learn and adapt to current technology. Respond to and resolve guest questions. Position Summary: Responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service while operating the campus convenience store. Maintains product availability, accurate transactions, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and store standards. General Responsibilities: Understands and follows all policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution. Takes an interest and initiative in the development of the foodservice team. Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training. Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Willingness to be open to learning and growing. Maturity of judgment and behavior. Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance. Maintains a positive attitude. Must comply with any dress code requirements. Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity. Experience/Knowledge: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience. 1 or more years of related work experience. Skills/Aptitude: Previous customer service or retail experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Basic math and organizational skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move products as needed. Physical Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. Significant walking or other means of mobility. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
