Job Overview Title: Contract Specialist Location: Laughlin Air Force Base , TX Client: US Air Force Job Description- The Contract Specialist shall perform cradle-to-grave acquisition support and provide advice to supported officials in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and any other applicable agency supplement regulations. The individual shall participate in Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) and coordinate with stakeholders from 47 CES and other mission partners. General Responsibilities- Perform cradle-to-grave acquisition support and provide advice to supported officials in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and any other agency supplement regulations. Participate in Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) and liaise with stakeholders from 47 CES and other mission partners. Required Qualifications- Minimum of five (5) years of contracting experience in the Department of War (DoW), with significant experience in procuring construction and complex services. Previously held an unlimited warrant (highly desired). Department of Defense (DoD) Contracting Professional Certification (or civilian equivalent, e.g., FAC-C Professional) is required. A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Must have source selection experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other common commercial software packages. Pay: $70,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
