Contract Specialist

Mission Pet Health is hiring a Contract Specialist to join our growing Legal Department. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of veterinarian employment agreements, drafting, revising, and supporting their negotiation and execution. What you’ll do Draft, modify, and execute associate and medical director veterinarian employment agreements, including amendments and addendums Make sure contracts align with company standards, state-specific legal requirements, and business goals Partner with Legal Counsel, Vice Presidents, Field Leaders, Veterinarian Recruiters, and Hospital Leaders on contract requirements Prepare for negotiations and clarify terms, including compensation models, benefits, restrictive covenants, and jurisdiction-specific provisions Build and maintain contract templates and standards, and draft approved custom language for non-standard provisions Analyze terms and conditions to confirm compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies Support post-employment contract review and enforcement when needed Keep contracts and related documents secure, organized, and accessible What we’re looking for 2-4 years of contracting experience who has hands-on exposure to drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts Strong collaboration across Talent Acquisition, Business Development, People Solutions, Payroll, Finance, and Operations Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate contracts on time Commitment to Mission’s core values and mission Details Work setup: Primarily remote, with periodic in-person collaboration Travel: Minimal Responsibilities and Benefits How You're Supported As part of the Mission Pet Health family, you get the stability of a local practice backed by the comprehensive benefits and resources of a larger network.
