Contract Specialist
Insight GlobalLocation: Sacramento, CA Pay: $40+ 3 month contract w/ possible extensions Responsibilities Support development and administration of RFPs, RFBs, and other procurement solicitations. Create solicitation timelines, issue addendums, and prepare official procurement communications. Negotiate, draft, and execute contracts with public and private entities. Partner with Risk Management and Legal teams throughout the procurement and contracting process. Manage contract lifecycle activities, including vendor onboarding documentation, insurance, bonding, and compliance reviews. Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and supporting documentation within internal record systems. Assist with procurement policy updates and support special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, purchasing, or a related field. Experience with government contracting or public sector procurement. Knowledge of contract compliance, legal requirements, and procurement regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience working with municipalities, counties, special districts, or other public entities. Preferred Qualifications Planning or project coordination experience. Additional experience supporting contracts within city, county, or special district environments. Ideal Background Candidates from public agencies, utilities, sanitation districts, water districts, municipalities, counties, transportation authorities, or government purchasing departments will align well with this role.
