Are you an experienced residential interior designer who loves creating beautiful spaces and working with clients but would rather not deal with the administrative responsibilities of running a design business? Authentic Home & Living | Decorating Den Interiors is seeking talented, motivated independent designers to collaborate with our growing residential interior design business. Focus on what you do best — designing, selling, and building client relationships — while we provide the purchasing resources, vendor relationships, and operational support. What You'll Do Conduct in-home and virtual design consultations based on your schedule. Develop creative interior design concepts and presentations. Specify and sell furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, and home décor. Build lasting client relationships and generate referrals. Coordinate with our team to bring design projects to completion. What We Provide Access to an extensive network of quality furniture and home décor manufacturers. Purchasing, procurement, and order management. Vendor coordination, invoicing, and administrative support. Delivery and installation coordination. Opportunities for company-generated client referrals. Flexibility to develop and maintain your own client relationships. Established business infrastructure without the overhead of operating your own design firm. Compensation Our commission structure rewards both design expertise and business development: Company-Generated Clients: 25% of adjusted project gross profit. Designer-Generated Clients: 35% of adjusted project gross profit. Professional Design Fees: Potential allocation of 50%–60% of collected design fees where applicable. Final compensation terms are established through an independent contractor agreement. No guaranteed salary or minimum project volume. Who We're Looking For Experienced commercial interior designers with strong creative and presentation skills. Designers that are currently working in other industries other than residential that would like to have start and build a residential clientele of their own and on their own time. Professionals with knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, and space planning. Designers who enjoy selling and working directly with homeowners. Self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset. Established independent designers seeking to reduce business overhead are especially encouraged to apply.
