business development team to identify and pursue new contracting opportunities while also supporting Gig Restart Solutions, which assists rideshare and gig-economy drivers with deactivation and reactivation matters.
This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assignments, communicate professionally with clients and outside organizations, manage multiple cases and deadlines, and work independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesGovernment Contracting & Business Development
• Assist with identifying new federal, state, local, and commercial contracting opportunities.
• Work directly with the business development team to pursue new contracts and business opportunities.
• Research solicitations, RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement opportunities.
• Assist with proposal preparation, administrative documentation, submissions, and deadline tracking.
• Maintain organized contract and business-development files.
• Communicate with potential clients, teaming partners, vendors, subcontractors, and other business contacts.
• Track opportunities from initial identification through submission and follow-up.
• Assist leadership with general contract administration and operational requirements.
Gig Restart Solutions – Driver Reactivation & Case Support
• Serve as a point of contact for drivers seeking assistance with Uber, Lyft, and other gig-platform deactivation or reactivation matters.
• Conduct initial client intake and gather information and supporting documentation.
• Respond to driver inquiries by telephone, text message, and email.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding the status of their matters.
• Organize case files, evidence, correspondence, photographs, screenshots, records, and other supporting documentation.
• Assist with preparation of case-related documents and administrative materials.
• Track hearings, court dates, deadlines, client appointments, and follow-up requirements.
• Assist drivers throughout the reactivation and dispute process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Court Attendance & Local Travel
Court attendance is a required part of this position.
The employee must be comfortable attending court proceedings and other scheduled matters as part of their assigned responsibilities. Duties may include accompanying or supporting clients, organizing case materials, taking notes, coordinating documentation, and providing administrative case support as appropriate.
Regular local travel throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) area is required.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to courthouses, meetings, client appointments, and other business locations as necessary.
Administrative & Client Support
• Manage incoming telephone calls, text messages, emails, and client inquiries.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and case-related activities.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
• Maintain electronic records and organized client and contract files.
• Follow up with clients and business contacts to ensure outstanding items are completed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Assist leadership with additional administrative and operational projects as needed.
