Contract Client-Facing Delivery Driver — New York City / New Jersey

We are looking for a reliable, polished individual to become our go-to delivery representative in New York/New Jersey for recurring local pickup and client delivery assignments. This is flexible, project-based contract work with no fixed weekly schedule. Most assignments take approximately 1–2 hours and pay $75–$200+ per delivery , depending on distance, duration, and delivery requirements. Assignments are offered based on upcoming needs and your availability. The role involves picking up packaged non-alcoholic beverages and related products from designated local pickup locations, primarily in Northern New Jersey, safely transporting them in your own vehicle, and completing a professional handoff directly to our clients. Deliveries are typically made to retail stores, offices, event venues, and other client locations throughout New York City and the surrounding area. Because deliveries are completed directly with clients, we are looking for someone who is highly dependable, professional, polished, friendly, and communicates well. A high level of professionalism and attention to presentation is important when completing client-facing deliveries. We are specifically looking to establish an ongoing relationship with the same reliable individual for recurring New York/New Jersey assignments rather than using different on-demand delivery drivers. Responsibilities Pick up packaged beverages and products from designated locations throughout Northern New Jersey and the New York City area Safely transport products using your own vehicle Deliver directly to retail stores, offices, event venues, and other designated client locations Provide a friendly, polished, and professional client handoff Communicate clearly regarding pickup, ETA, arrival, and delivery completion Follow specific handling and delivery instructions Provide proof-of-delivery photos or confirmation when requested Handle products carefully and keep items clean, organized, and presentation-ready during transport Requirements Extremely reliable and punctual Professional, polished, and friendly Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting directly with clients Prior experience in a professional client-facing role such as hospitality, hotels, retail, restaurants/cafés, customer service, personal/executive assistance, or similar work is strongly preferred Previous delivery or pickup/drop-off experience is helpful but not required Professional and respectful of private business, vendor, and client information Owns a clean, reliable SUV, crossover, or similar vehicle with adequate cargo space Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Comfortable driving between Northern New Jersey and New York City Comfortable navigating Manhattan deliveries, including retail locations, commercial buildings, loading areas, and parking Able to lift and transport packaged products and insulated cooler bags weighing up to approximately 50 lbs Flexible weekday availability, with occasional morning, evening, and weekend assignments Able to follow detailed instructions and handle unexpected delivery situations professionally Schedule Project-based contract work with no fixed weekly schedule. Assignments are offered based on upcoming delivery needs and your availability. We are looking for someone interested in an ongoing relationship who can become our go-to person for recurring New York/New Jersey deliveries. Compensation Most assignments pay approximately $75–$200+ per delivery , based on distance, duration, and delivery requirements. Approved tolls, parking, and other pre-approved delivery-related expenses are reimbursed separately. Selected candidates will be contacted for a brief video interview.
