Contracts Administrator Atlanta, GA JOB SUMMARY The Contracts Administrator provides senior-level support for sourcing and contracting activities throughout the full contract lifecycle, from RFI/RFP development and supplier negotiations through contract execution, administration, amendments, and closeout. This role drafts and reviews contracts, manages redlines and exceptions, negotiates terms and pricing, and partners with Legal, Risk Management, Accounting, suppliers, and business stakeholders to resolve contract issues. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage sourcing and contracting activities from cradle to grave, including RFI/RFP preparation, offer review, negotiations, contract execution, administration, and closeout. Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and master agreements, scopes of work, amendments, extensions, and other contract documents. Manage contract redlines, exceptions, changes, and commercial terms while partnering with Legal and business stakeholders to resolve issues. Negotiate pricing, rates, terms, conditions, and other requirements with suppliers and vendors. Develop and update contract language, including general terms, special conditions, blanket scopes of work, and non-standard purchasing requirements. Support supplier onboarding and coordinate with business partners to bring vendors and contractors onto sites and begin required work. Review supplier offers and support cost and price analysis, risk assessment, contract awards, and claims resolution. Maintain contract records and monitor contract status, outstanding items, amendments, and closeout activities. Communicate effectively with suppliers and business partners at all levels regarding contract terms, status, requirements, and processes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong knowledge of transactional contracting, contract administration, procurement, and supplier management. Demonstrated ability to draft, review, interpret, and negotiate contracts and commercial terms. Strong understanding of contract redlines, amendments, master agreements, scopes of work, pricing, and terms and conditions. Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, suppliers, and priorities with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, including contract document formatting and PDF conversion. Experience with Maximo and/or GEP bidding or procurement software is highly preferred; experience with other procurement or contract management systems is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred. 10+ years of transactional contract experience preferred; significant hands-on contracting experience required. Experience drafting, negotiating, and administering commercial or supplier contracts. Experience managing contract redlines, pricing, amendments, extensions, scopes of work, and legal terms. Previous supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or supplier management experience preferred. Experience working with Legal, Risk Management, Accounting, suppliers, and business stakeholders preferred. Experience in a utility, energy, construction, industrial, or complex corporate environment is a plus. Former transactional attorneys, MBAs, or professionals with significant contracting experience may be considered based on relevant experience. Position may be structured as a full-time 40-hour-per-week role or, for highly experienced candidates, a 32-hour-per-week schedule. · Background and drug screening REQUIRED OTHER DETAILS Monday - Friday, fully onsite 7-month contract position, subject to change and/or extension PAY & OUR BENEFITS Pay is $43 - $46/hour, pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
