Container Delivery Driver | Frederickson, WA

LeMay Pierce County Refuse, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a Container Delivery Driver to join our team in Frederickson, WA . In this role, you will operate a box truck to deliver and exchange garbage, recycling, and waste containers for residential and commercial customers throughout the service area. This position typically completes 15-35 customer stops per day and requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and productivity. Daily work includes frequent lifting, loading, unloading, walking, pushing, pulling, and moving containers in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Pay & Schedule $23.00 - $25.00 per hour starting wage Full-time position Typically Monday through Friday Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs Typical start time is 5:30 AM Workday generally ends around 3:00 PM or when assigned deliveries are completed What You'll Do Safely operate a box truck on assigned routes throughout Pierce County Deliver, exchange, and retrieve waste and recycling containers Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries Follow company safety policies and procedures Accurately complete route documentation and daily assignments Work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and operations teams What We're Looking For Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, and move heavy containers throughout the day Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Minimum Qualifications Valid Driver's License required CDL is not required Minimum of 2 years of professional truck driving experience Previous experience operating a 16-foot box truck or larger Ability to start early in the morning and work until the route is completed Ability to perform physically demanding work for up to 10 hours per day Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements Safety Sensitive - YES Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery, route driving, logistics, transportation, moving, or waste industry experience Interest in obtaining a CDL and advancing into future driving opportunities Experience operating box trucks, straight trucks, delivery vehicles, or commercial vehicles To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.careers.wasteconnections.com .
