You will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to oversee, generate, manage, and organize bids, budgets, material specifications, and scopes of work for all custom home projects—from the initial receipt of plans to final home completion. The ideal candidate ensures that all project data is highly organized, accurate, and completely transparent to team members and clients. This is an in-person office position with no jobsite work or subcontractor scheduling required. Key Responsibilities Project Administration: Work in direct collaboration with the Administrative Project Manager to maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the entire lifecycle of each home. (Note: This role has no client billing or vendor payment oversight responsibilities). Budgeting & Estimating Support: Acquire detailed construction estimates and budgets by gathering information from subcontractors, material suppliers, and the Project Superintendent. (Experience providing independent estimates or take-offs is not required). Supply Chain Collaboration: Partner with material suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to actively resolve product availability and sourcing issues as they arise. Data Organization: Manage and update project details within Buildertrend to guarantee clear data transparency across the team. Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience (Must meet one of the following): A 4-year college degree (any major; Construction Management or Business Administration is a plus). OR Minimum of 5 years of construction work experience (either hands-on on-site field experience or administrative office experience). Excel Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required. Candidates must be willing to submit to Excel proficiency testing as part of the interview process. Software Skills: Strong general computer software skills, including extensive use of MS Word. Previous experience with Buildertrend project management software is highly advantageous. Plan Reading: Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is helpful, but we are fully willing to train the right candidate on this skill. Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills with an eagle-eye attention to detail in vendor bid and project budget analysis. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong team collaboration, communication, and customer service skills.
