Construction Materials Department Manager

Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline OR minimum 9 years of related experience without a degree 5+ years of experience in construction project management and/or construction materials testing QA/QC experience 1-3+ years of supervisory/team leadership experience with ownership of people and resources Experience with: Budget management Staffing / resource management Utilization Forecasting Growth strategy Strong leadership approach focused on mentorship, team development, organizational structure, and putting people in the right roles. Day-to-Day Lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of a 40-person Construction Materials department, with direct oversight of Field Supervisors, Assistant PMs, and the Resource Coordinator/Dispatcher team. Responsible for developing and mentoring the team, managing staffing and utilization, overseeing project execution, budgets, forecasting, profitability, quality, and safety, and ensuring projects meet client expectations. Partner with office leadership on business development, client relationships, workforce planning, and department growth while building the organizational structure and future leaders needed to support continued growth.
