Location: Calgary, AB Department: Pacific Link Reports to: Director Facilities Worker Type: Contract Schedule Type: Full-time Work Setting: In-office Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Construction Manager, Pacific Link. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and development of the Pacific Link Facilities by working closely with the Project Manager and external consultants to develop project estimates, schedules, construction execution plans, and readiness activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in construction planning, constructability reviews, contractor management, and project execution strategies. This position offers the opportunity to influence facility design and execution approaches, identify constructability risks and practical solutions, and contribute to the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Provide daily construction planning guidance to the Project Team members. Develop the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) for the assigned facilities. Ensure the Stage-Gate deliverables and all other applicable processes assigned are developed and followed. Engage and work collaboratively with the Pacific Link internal stakeholders at the appropriate time to ensure alignment and progress during the development of field studies and the CEP. Identify the need for specialized external consulting in collaboration with SCM regarding the procurement & materials and construction contracts, while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule performance. Effectively manages the performance of external consultants to ensure that deliverables are provided in line with development schedules and timelines. Ensure planning documents and other deliverables achieve the required levels of completeness and quality at various Stage Gates. Ensure that facilities design undergo rigorous constructability and process reviews, and facility constructability considerations have been appropriately included in the design, estimates, and risk assessments.
