Construction Manager

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning, tracking and leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, quality control, and ensuring safety standards are met. The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Candidates should have a proven track record in supervising construction teams and utilizing industry-leading management software. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Develop detailed project plans using construction management software Review blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility Coordinate with clients to facilitate smooth project execution Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing aligned with project needs Monitor construction progress daily, addressing issues promptly to prevent delays Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe working environment Manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards Control project budgets by tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures when appropriate Coordinating balance of planning and execution in field with direct assistance from the program coordinator Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction teams Extensive knowledge of construction processes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and estimating techniques Proficiency with construction management software Demonstrated ability in budgeting, scheduling, and project planning within complex construction environments Strong leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites Prior experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead impactful projects within a dynamic environment.
