Construction Manager

NL Modular is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects. The Construction Manager directs daily on-site operations, schedules, and teams to complete residential and commercial building projects. Core Responsibilities Subject Matter Expert (SME): Share your deep technical knowledge, practical experience, and regulatory knowledge in building systems. Project Management: Project design, planning, procurement, and execution. Site Operations: Oversee daily activities, crew members, and trade sequencing for projects. Quality & Code Compliance: Inspect workmanship regularly to ensure compliance with national and local building codes, drawings, and specifications. Subcontractor Coordination: Hire, schedule, and evaluate subcontractors. Schedule & Budget Tracking: Monitor project milestones, material deliveries, and labor costs to prevent delays and budget overruns. Communication: Effectively communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial building construction. Proven Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, or managing cross-functional teams in residential and commercial construction. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, schematics, national and local building codes. Leadership & Problem-Solving: Strong capacity to manage diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and direct work for high productivity. Strategic Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to turn plans into actionable tasks. License: Valid driver’s license.
