Construction Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary McClelland Construction is seeking an organized and dependable Construction Logistics Coordinator to manage material deliveries, coordinate equipment transportation, and support daily logistics for construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, field supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure materials and equipment arrive at the right locations on schedule, helping projects run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Coordinate material deliveries and equipment transportation to construction sites Schedule shipments and deliveries based on project timelines and site requirements Communicate with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and project management teams Track material orders, delivery status, and equipment availability Verify delivery documents, purchase orders, quantities, and shipment details Maintain accurate logistics records, inventory reports, and delivery schedules Monitor material stock levels and notify project teams of shortages Coordinate equipment transfers between job sites and storage facilities Assist with resolving delivery delays, scheduling conflicts, and supply issues Ensure materials are stored and handled according to site procedures Support logistics planning for multiple construction projects Follow company policies, transportation requirements, and job-site safety procedures Qualifications Previous construction, logistics, warehouse, or transportation coordination experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets or inventory systems Ability to manage multiple deliveries and changing project priorities Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadlines Knowledge of construction materials and equipment is an advantage Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or with a team Benefits Competitive pay Paid training Health benefits for eligible employees Paid time off, where applicable Professional development opportunities Opportunities to gain experience in construction project operations Potential career advancement in logistics and construction management About the Company McClelland Construction is presented here as a construction company supporting building and construction projects.
