Construction Helper/Materials & Operations Assistant

MYM Construction Company LLC Glade Valley, NC Full-Time · Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Description MYM Construction Company LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and well-rounded Construction Helper / Materials & Operations Assistant to support our team across a variety of construction and day-to-day operational tasks. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, communicates well, and takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and correctly. We are looking for someone who can adapt to different responsibilities, work independently when needed, and assist wherever support is needed throughout the company. Key Responsibilities Receive, organize, track, and handle incoming construction materials and supplies. Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites as needed. Process material returns, including coordinating with suppliers and returning unused or incorrect items. Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing materials. Maintain organized materials, tools, equipment, and storage areas. Provide general support to construction crews and assist with various tasks across the company. Assist with basic construction work and minor electrical tasks as needed. Electrical experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential. Communicate with team members, suppliers, and vendors to help ensure materials and tasks are handled efficiently. Help identify and resolve day-to-day issues that arise on job sites and during company operations. Perform other general construction and operational duties as assigned. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently. Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of responsibilities. General knowledge of construction practices, materials, tools, and job-site procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move construction materials as required. Previous construction experience is preferred. Candidates with a broad understanding of construction and a willingness to learn are strongly encouraged to apply.
