Our estimators interact with clients early in the project development process and play a key role in our success. Estimators leverage their knowledge and resourcefulness to deliver accurate cost proposals for a wide variety of projects. Estimators help develop construction design solutions. An analytical mindset and managing client/contractor relationships with professionalism are vital. The goal is to interpret our clients’ ideas, directions, and architectural designs and create timely comprehensive solutions with accurate cost estimates to win projects that will increase our profitability and growth. College and a construction estimating background is recommended; however, we will consider all levels of experience. We are looking for the right individual to join our team and grow with us! Estimate various commercial construction projects, typically including: Existing building/office improvements. Market ready improvements. Ground up new construction. Site development. Design build for all the above project types. Typical job duties may include: Pre-construction client interaction with highly professional communication. Preliminary budget proposals. Initiate/conduct/manage site evaluation process. Interpret bid documents and plans. Bluebeam Revu Software for take-offs and design. Identify required trades for projects. Create/write/design scopes of work (design build projects). Initiate/conduct/manage subcontractor bid process. Qualify subcontractor bids through review and evaluation. Procurement / provide procurement assistance to PM team. Identify risk and scope gaps. Create initial construction schedule, Microsoft Project. Compile complete bid cost analysis, Microsoft Excel. Submit timely proposals to clients. Manage design process through plan check and permitting with architects, engineers, clients. Other abilities required/desired: Estimate all trades independently. Adapt to our process and methodology, willingness to learn. Professional email etiquette and grammar. Research unknowns and source subcontractors/suppliers/materials. Time management, willingness to work extended hours when needed. Dependability and sense of urgency. Excellent knowledge of Bluebeam Revu. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
