Concrete Mixer Driver

Job Summary As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you’ll transport and deliver concrete to active construction and civil infrastructure projects. You’ll operate a commercial vehicle and concrete mixer, coordinate with site crews, and help keep each delivery safe and on schedule. Your impact: Careful delivery and placement help construction teams build durable concrete structures and keep projects moving. Responsibilities Drive and position the concrete mixer at construction sites, following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and site safety protocols. Inspect and maintain the truck and mixer; report issues and complete routine equipment maintenance. Coordinate concrete pumping and placement with crews, including work involving concrete forming and rebar installation. Support paving operations as assigned, including asphalt paving, bituminous materials, paving equipment, screeds, and loader operation. Follow safety regulations while working around heavy equipment and active construction projects. Skills Commercial truck driving experience and the ability to operate a commercial vehicle and concrete mixer safely. Construction site experience, including work on civil infrastructure projects; heavy equipment operation is helpful. Mechanical knowledge and construction machinery maintenance skills. Basic math skills for checking quantities and supporting accurate deliveries. Knowledge of concrete, paving, and safety protocol adherence; experience with concrete pumping, concrete forming, rebar installation, or paving equipment operation is preferred.
