Concrete Mixer Driver

Driver Position Summary Baker Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Driver to support construction operations by transporting concrete from mobile batch plant to project sites in DSW area. The Driver plays a critical role in ensuring crews have the resources needed to maintain productivity while upholding Baker's commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate company concrete mixer portable. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to all Baker Construction safety standards, DOT regulations, and site-specific safety requirements. Ensure timely and accurate concrete deliveries to support project schedules by loading and dispatching one truck at a time, transporting concrete to job sites, unloading materials, and returning to the plant for refills. Represent Baker professionally while interacting with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and the public. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred CDL Class A or Class B license. Construction industry experience. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Exposure to moving equipment, construction traffic, noise, dust, and changing weather conditions.
