Follow directives of the Plant Manager. Assume full control in the absence of a specific directive from the Plant Manager or a member of management above the Plant Manager. Receive and document all customer orders using appropriate company forms. Coordinate with other Plant Managers and/or dispatchers potential customer orders that could be more efficiently served from another plant location. Generate a delivery ticket through the Triad System for all material sold and/or delivered. Coordinate with the main business office on all account information, account status, etc. Follow all company policies on COD’s, payment by check, credit limits, etc. Batch concrete to provide the required mixes based on customer orders. Utilize standards and job-specific mixes. Quality Control and/or the Plant Manager authorizes deviations from mix designs. Receive daily guidance on admixture dosages, admixture types, and moisture adjustments. Coordinate all truck requirements and repairs with the fleet mechanics to ensure availability of required trucks and equipment. Ensure sufficient raw materials (cement/sand/stone/admixtures/fuel, etc.) are constantly on hand to meet all demands. Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with all OSHA and company policies and rules. A Triad and/or a Command Data Alkon ticket must be generated to batch concrete. Handwrite tickets only if the Triad or Command Data Alkon system is down. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience as an office assistant, receptionist, dispatcher, or another relevant administrative role Data entry experience Ability to quickly shift priorities in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with customer demands Verbal & written communication skills Attention to detail and organization Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license required Conditions of Employment The successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment drug screen and background check. Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
