Title: Compliance/Logistics Analyst - A

Location: North Chicago, Illinois

Duration: 4 Months

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Support internal customers with compliance activities related to import and export.
  • Ensure that all related documentation and recordkeeping is compliant with U.S. import & export regulations.
  • Position requires knowledge of transactional testing (auditing) in a compliance area such as trade compliance, regulatory, or quality; experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and SharePoint; keen attention to detail; self-starter.
  • 0-3 years of experience.

Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

  • Import/export logistics
  • International freight forwarding, creating proforma invoices for international shipments
  • Classifying commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B
  • Maintaining updated FDA
  • USDA, and Other Agency data
  • USMCA Certificates of Origin
  • Filing Shippers Export Declarations (AES/EEI)
  • Maintaining inbound/outbound shipment log and record filing system
  • Shipment tracking and follow-up
  • Logistics coordinating/assistance
  • Compliance/audit
  • Audit customs brokerage invoices
  • SOP creation and compliance

 Skills:

  • Excel/Sharepoint knowledge
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Transactional testing (auditing) in a compliance area such as trade compliance regulatory, or quality; self-starter
