As a Company Driver, you will be the face of our company on the road, demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence in logistics cargo handling and transportation. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules for local deliveries. Transport containerized cargo, or other specialized loads while maintaining vehicle integrity. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck safety, including checking for load security, proper trailer connection, brake function, and compliance with truck loading and unloading protocols. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance records in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes or delivery issues to ensure seamless logistics cargo handling. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving across diverse terrains. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations including DOT regulations and FMCSA rules. Skilled in operating various types of trucks particularly tractor-trailers equipped with containers trailers. Proficient in using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards. Excellent driving skills with experience in local and over-the-road (OTR) routes involving long-distance travel. Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures for freight that may include hazardous or temperature-sensitive goods. Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
