Role Description The Company Driver role at Triton Transport is a full-time, on-site position based in Chilliwack, BC. The driver is responsible for operating company trucks safely, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and following all traffic and transportation regulations. Daily tasks include transporting freight to designated locations, securing and handling loads appropriately, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The role involves communicating with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate routes and schedules, as well as representing the company professionally at all customer sites. The driver is also expected to report any mechanical issues, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a clean and organized vehicle and work environment. Qualifications Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent commercial driver’s license) with a clean driving record. Ability to communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and colleagues using professional communication skills. Customer service skills to interact respectfully with clients and represent the company positively. Familiarity with basic truck maintenance checks and the ability to identify and report mechanical issues. Knowledge of transportation regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe loading/unloading practices. Ability to work on-site in Chilliwack, BC, with flexibility for varying routes and schedules. Physical ability to handle loading assistance, secure cargo, and perform routine inspections as required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in commercial transport or logistics is an asset.
