POSITION DETAILS Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 8-hour shifts Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia Training: Paid training provided WHAT WE OFFER We value our team members and offer the following benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid Vacation Paid training Supplemental Insurance QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Be at least 25 years of age Possess a valid driver's license Maintain a clean driving record Pass a criminal background check Have a smartphone for communication and delivery-related tasks Demonstrate a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail Be dependable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Cardinal Messenger driver, your responsibilities will include: Operating a company van safely and complying with all traffic laws Picking up and delivering medical materials accurately and on schedule Loading and unloading materials, including items weighing up to 75 pounds or more Verifying package labels and ensuring all required delivery documentation is completed accurately Following established procedures, instructions, and delivery protocols Communicating professionally and effectively with dispatch personnel and clients Providing courteous, customer-focused service at every stop Maintaining punctuality and reliability for all scheduled pickups and deliveries THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for someone who is: Reliable: Shows up on time and follows through on commitments Safety-Minded: Prioritizes safe driving and careful handling of materials Detail-Oriented: Ensures labels, documentation, and deliveries are accurate Professional: Communicates effectively and treats clients with respect Physically Capable: Able to lift and carry at least 75 pounds READY TO APPLY?
