Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, and electrical components using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and tire services. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, RV electrical systems, and automotive electrical components with precision using hand tools and power tools. Repair RV plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other specialized mechanical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize welding, soldering, carpentry, and equipment repair skills for assembly or fabrication tasks as needed. Perform vehicle inspections to identify issues related to basic troubleshooting, mechanical failures, or system malfunctions; document findings thoroughly. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform routine maintenance to keep fleet vehicles in top condition while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with heavy-duty diesel trucks or similar vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, electrical repair, and diagnostics. Familiarity with RV electrical system diagnostics and plumbing system maintenance is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Knowledge of transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and tire service procedures. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting independently while following safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Additional skills such as carpentry, auto body repair, soldering, welding, or sales experience are advantageous but not mandatory. Join our team today!
