Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and HVAC system servicing to keep vehicles in top condition. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using power tools and welding techniques to meet specific repair or operational needs. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair tasks. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly. Follow safety procedures diligently while performing heavy lifting, assembly, equipment repair, and welding tasks to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs for all repairs performed on commercial trucks and industrial equipment. Skills Extensive experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks preferred; strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems is essential. Proficiency in fabrication, welding (including soldering), and working with schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical or hydraulic systems. Hands-on experience with tractor-trailer maintenance, and other heavy equipment operation. Skilled in automotive repair including brake systems, transmissions, shocks & struts, alignment services, HVAC systems, and tire service. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and industrial machinery safely and effectively. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures for diesel truck systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; commitment to safety standards at all times.
