Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and suspension adjustments. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and mechanical assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Inspect and maintain air brake systems, alignments, wheel balancing, shocks & struts, and perform basic vehicle troubleshooting. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with heavy-duty diesel trucks preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing transmissions, engine repair, brake systems, suspension components, and automotive diagnostics. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, HVAC units, and perform heavy lifting safely. Knowledge of automotive repair standards including alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and auto body repair basics.
