We’re seeking a dynamic Commercial Truck Technician to join our team and keep our fleet running smoothly! Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on commercial trucks, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system inspections to prevent future breakdowns. Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized tools to complete repairs and assembly tasks. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities and heavy lifting operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards. Qualifications Proven dealership or heavy equipment repair experience of 2 years with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment systems is highly desirable. Experience with electrical troubleshooting, and schematics reading. Hands-on experience with automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance. Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments. Join us in a role that’s vital to keeping the wheels turning!
