Responsibilities Investigate and evaluate commercial trucking claims, including liability, property damage, cargo loss, and workers' compensation cases Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate to accurately determine repair costs and damages Negotiate claim settlements with policyholders, third parties, vendors, and legal representatives to reach fair resolutions Analyze claims data to detect potential fraud or discrepancies using fraud prevention and detection techniques Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and regulatory requirements throughout the claims process Collaborate with clients to communicate claim status updates and gather necessary documentation for adjudication Maintain detailed records of claim activities, correspondence, and assessments using financial software and claims management systems Requirements Proven experience in property insurance claims processing, casualty insurance, or workers' compensation law within a commercial transportation context Strong knowledge of insurance law, liability insurance claims processing, and regulatory compliance in claims handling Proficiency with estimating software such as Xactimate and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and analysis Excellent negotiation skills combined with customer service expertise to manage sensitive claim discussions effectively Analytical skills necessary for thorough investigation, analysis of damages, and fraud detection Organizational skills to manage multiple complex claims simultaneously while adhering to deadlines Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and claims adjudication procedures in the transportation sector Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, legal professionals, and internal teams regarding claim status and resolution strategies Join our team if you are passionate about delivering fair outcomes in a regulated environment while leveraging your expertise in commercial trucking insurance.
