Commercial Transport/Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Overview: RTP & Sons Contracting Ltd. Is seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial transport/Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy duty mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This position plays an important role in ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a valid class 1DL and are willing and able to operate commercial trucks on occasion as required. Duties: Perform all aspects of Heavy Duty/commercial truck and trailer repairs and maintenance ensuring trucks, trailers and equipment remain safe and operational. Qualifications: Heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience required Heavy Equipment repair experience an asset Valid class 5 drivers licence required Valid class 1 drivers licence preferred Ability to work independently and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
