Commercial Tire Technician: Emergency Truck Tire Tech

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Best-One team member? Job Summary: We have an immediate opening for a full-time Commercial Tire Technician. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) performing general tire maintenance both in-store and at customer locations or road-side, performing service and repairs on company and customer vehicles, and performing after-hours and emergency road service calls. Mount/dismount/repair/replace/rotate/balance and assemble tire and wheel components Inspect for and repair tire/wheel/mechanical abnormalities on company and customer vehicles Properly load, secure, store and transport product Operate heavy hand tools and commercial equipment (jacks, lifts, stands, impact guns, etc) Operate service/boom trucks Qualifications Prior tire industry experience Requirements Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record Pass pre-employment drug test and background check Ability to work independently and receive instructions with a positive attitude Ability to work inside or outdoors during all weather conditions Ability to lift/maneuver 100lbs regularly and 150lbs on an occasional basis **Training available for select applicants** Great Lakes Best One Tire & Service offers full-time employment with a positive work environment.
