Commercial Tire Technician
STL TRUCK & TRAILERSJob Summary We are looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual with hands-on experience servicing commercial truck tires, fleet vehicles, and heavy-duty equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs tire repairs Properly dismounts and remounts tires and wheels, ensuring they are securely installed on Class A Trucks and equipment. Completes daily inspections of all wheel positions on trucks and equipment Operates all related equipment and tools in accordance with training and safety guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned by the Fleet Maintenance Manager or Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: 1 - 2 years’ experience in heavy truck equipment & light duty truck tire maintenance Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA rules and regulations Consistently behaves in a manner that is appropriate and professional Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information Valid Drivers License Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Preferred Qualifications: Trade School Certification Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance Accident Insurance Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
