Commercial Service HVAC Technician
Oracle PlumbingOracle Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a qualified, self-motivated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position servicing commercial, multi-family, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use properties throughout the Denver metro area. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician who can work independently, diagnose and repair HVAC equipment efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally. Description of Position: Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation services for commercial HVAC systems in multi-family communities, hotels, hospitals, mixed-use developments, and other commercial facilities. Technicians will perform scheduled preventive maintenance as well as emergency service calls on heating, cooling, ventilation, and mechanical systems. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced service environment while maintaining high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer service. This position involves working in a variety of environments including: Mechanical rooms Rooftops Crawl spaces Attics Parking garages Equipment yards Occupied apartment units Hotel guest areas Healthcare facilities Employees may be exposed to loud equipment, extreme weather conditions, heights, confined spaces, and other demanding work conditions. This is a physically demanding position requiring frequent standing, walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and lifting. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years commercial HVAC service experience required Experience working in multi-family, commercial, healthcare, or hospitality environments preferred Experience with preventative maintenance programs preferred License/Certification: Valid Driver's License (Required) EPA Section 608 Certification (Required) HVAC Trade Certification or Journeyman License (Preferred) Brazing Certification (Preferred) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (Preferred) Backflow Certification (Preferred) Medical Gas Certification (Preferred Requirements: Must pass pre-employment drug screening Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to maneuver and transport equipment exceeding 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Responsibilities and Duties: Work Order Management: Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times Represent Oracle Plumbing & HVAC professionally while interacting with customers and property management teams Utilize field management software to receive, manage, and complete daily work assignments Diagnose HVAC system issues and provide effective repair recommendations Air conditioning systems Heat pumps Furnaces Rooftop units (RTUs) Make-up air units Exhaust systems Split systems Package units Boilers and hydronic systems Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs Install HVAC equipment and related mechanical components Complete service calls and work orders accurately and efficiently Upload purchase receipts and expenses associated with work orders Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding job progress and scheduling updates Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts procurement Participate in rotating on-call emergency service schedules Develop practical, cost-effective solutions for customers Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements Reporting & Documentation: Prepare accurate service reports and work summaries Document diagnostic findings, repairs completed, and recommendations Maintain detailed records within field service software Track inventory, materials, and equipment usage Assist with compliance audits and quality assurance reviews Collaborate with management and teammates to improve operational efficiency Submit receipts and supporting documentation weekly Organization & Cleanlin…
