you're a painting subcontractor interested in establishing a lasting partnership and accessing a consistent workflow, we invite you to complete our application. Projects are subcontracted, with potential for hourly work under Davis-Bacon Wages. The majority of our assignments involve subcontracting.
Ideal candidates are professional painting subcontractors with a strong background in COMMERCIAL projects and a thorough grasp of industry benchmarks. Painting Subcontractors should manage a crew of at least 3-4 skilled painters. Those with multiple crews can engage in contracts for larger ventures, enabling mutually beneficial growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adhere to project timelines established by the Project Manager.
• Maintain tidy, orderly workspaces and ensure secure storage of tools and supplies.
• Deliver projects meeting high-quality standards, taking pride in the final outcomes aligned with industry norms.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient in a variety of painting techniques, with hands-on experience using painting tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Skilled in operating Scissor and Boom Lifts.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate painting crews, ensuring work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Must be able to provide at least three qualified painters on-site at all times.
• Experience working on government projects is required.
• In-depth knowledge of wall surface preparation and finishing.
• Must be able to communicate and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must carry active General Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation coverage.
• Must be able to provide three professional references.
