Commercial Laundry Box Truck Driver Commercial Laundry Facility Location: Foley, AL Position Type: Full-Time Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate Based on Experience Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our commercial laundry team. This position is responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of linens, uniforms, mats, towels, and other textile products to customer locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to maintaining delivery schedules and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a company box truck to deliver and pick up laundry products at customer locations. Load and unload carts, linens, uniforms, mats, and other textile products. Verify delivery quantities and ensure accurate completion of route paperwork. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Assist customers with questions and service requests when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle. Communicate route issues, delays, or customer concerns to management promptly. Follow all company procedures regarding product handling and customer service. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous box truck, delivery, route, or transportation experience preferred. Ability to safely operate a commercial box truck. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented. Commercial laundry, distribution, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to load and unload rolling carts and laundry products throughout the day. Ability to enter and exit the truck frequently during deliveries. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
