• Anyone with strong HVAC parts knowledge and excellent computer skills.
You will spend your day helping technicians locate and procure parts needed to keep customer locations operating. The right candidate understands HVAC and refrigeration equipment, can identify components from model numbers and descriptions, knows where to source parts, and can communicate clearly with both technicians and vendors.
This is not a traditional purchasing position.
We're looking for someone who understands what a technician is asking for when they need:
• A Copeland compressor
• A Sporlan TXV
• A condenser fan motor
• A VFD
• A contactor
• A pressure control
• A heat exchanger
• A Lennox, Carrier, Trane, York, Hussmann, or Masterbilt component
The ideal candidate can quickly determine what is needed, where to get it, how much it costs, and how fast it can be delivered. Highly preferred skills would include;
• Ability to read equipment model numbers and identify replacement parts.
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration components and terminology.
• Experience working with commercial technicians.
• Knowledge of major HVAC distributors and supply houses.
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
• Experience using Outlook, Excel, and service management software.
