The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating commercial garbage trucks to collect waste from residential, commercial, and industrial locations, ensuring timely and efficient service while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities Operate commercial garbage trucks to collect and transport waste materials. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-up services. Inspect vehicles daily to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the vehicle. Assist with loading and unloading waste containers when necessary. Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Minimum 1 Year holding a valid CDL Clean driving record (MVR) Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably garbage or refuse trucks. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and handling waste containers. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
