Commercial Furniture Installer / Office Furniture Installer

Job Summary ACI Workspace Solutions is hiring an experienced Commercial Furniture Installer to assemble and install office furniture systems at customer job sites. This is a hands-on, full- or part time position for someone comfortable using tools, following drawings, and working on active job sites. This job requires daily travel to various job sites in the twin city metro area. You must have reliable transportation to get to the job sites. Job Duties: Assemble and install commercial office furniture , workstations, cubicles, and panel systems Read and follow installation drawings and specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Load, unload, and move furniture and materials Work as part of an installation crew and take direction from supervisors Complete required job documentation Responsibilities Install, assemble, and configure office and commercial furniture according to specifications and client requirements Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper setup and safety compliance Read and interpret installation diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions accurately Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule installations and ensure timely completion Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and make necessary adjustments for optimal fit and function Maintain a clean and safe work environment during all phases of installation Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify that furniture is secure, functional, and meets quality standards Assist with inventory management by tracking parts, tools, and equipment used during installations Qualifications: Full-time, day shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM & 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM are core hours) Part time hours vary Overtime available and sometimes required paid at 1.5 X pay. Valid Driver’s License required Experience as a furniture installer, office furniture installer, or commercial installer preferred but not required. Mechanical or carpentry experience Ability to work in a fast-paced construction or installation environment Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday Compensation: Competitive pay Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: In person
