Commercial Flooring Warehouse Manager

Company Description: We are a commercial flooring company looking for a qualified candidates to assist with managing our warehouse operation and field equipment. Responsibilities of the role include: Oversee the receipt of all incoming shipments daily Checking incoming shipments for accuracy Occasionally make local pickups and deliveries in Van/Box Truck. Ability to drive in and out of NYC Oversee the distribution of all scheduled materials & tools to installation teams daily Perform carpet cut ticket work orders Loading & unloading of trucks Operation of forklift for pallet and carpet Manage equipment inventory and maintenance Maintain cleanliness and organization of existing warehouse facility Manage auto fleet and maintenance Manage and perform maintenance to our field equipment (Floor machines, grinders, etc.) Properly staff and oversee warehouse employees in the safe and efficient execution of their duties Communicate openly with upper management Assist with company capital improvements & maintenance projects Mon-Friday 8am – 5:30pm and Saturdays and overtime when needed Desired Skills and Experience: Logistical and problem-solving skills Computer literate, with experience in email, word, excel Experience supervising in-house employees Highly self-motivated, organized and dependable Spanish Speaking a plus Experience: Management: 2+ years (Required) Logistics: 2+ years (Required) Warehouse Management: 2+ years (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Relocation assistance Application Question(s): Familiar with Construction materials Experience: Warehouse: 4 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Ridgefield, NJ 07657 (Required) Work Location: In person
