Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial sector. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. As a Foreman, you will coordinate teams of electricians, manage project timelines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from inception to completion, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and manage electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently. Interpret and review complex construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide installation processes. Coordinate construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction Management tools to meet deadlines. Oversee daily site operations, including quality control, safety compliance per OSHA standards, and adherence to federal construction safety regulations. Manage procurement of materials and equipment, utilizing tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and Prolog for documentation and tracking. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and contract management to ensure project scope aligns with client expectations. Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, safety protocols, and progress updates while managing crew performance and resolving onsite issues promptly. Skills Extensive experience in commercial construction projects with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance. Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other construction scheduling tools. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans for accuracy and feasibility. Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Strong understanding of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and construction safety management practices. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and managing contracts. Ability to use testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and quality assurance inspections. Knowledge of budgeting processes related to construction projects along with experience in managing project schedules and timelines.
