We offer Class A and Class B programs, permit programs, recertification programs, refresher programs, and hazmat endorsement preparation programs. Our team is passionate about safety, professionalism, and student success. We are seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and safety-focused Commercial Driving School Instructor to join our growing team. Responsibilities Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to students pursuing a CDL Demonstrate proper driving techniques, safety procedures, and compliance with federal/state regulations Execute Commercial Driving School’s lesson plans and maintain accurate student progress records according to our policies Conduct driving skills assessments and provide constructive feedback to students Ensure all training equipment and vehicles are in safe working condition Promote professionalism, responsibility, and safety in all aspects of training Stay current on industry regulations and best practices Qualifications Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record Minimum of 3 years of documented Class A driving experience per the state of Florida Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not required (we offer instructor training) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience and ability to work with students of diverse skill levels Must meet all state and federal requirements for driving instructors Benefits Competitive pay Paid training for qualified candidates Opportunities for career advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment How to Apply To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to: info@commercial-driving-school.com or through Indeed.
