In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers to transport goods safely and securely. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will be essential to keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when necessary, ensuring proper cargo securing. Transport freight with precision, maintaining vehicle integrity and cargo safety throughout the journey Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailers. Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual loading/unloading tasks Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling including freight securing for flatbed loads or tanker shipments Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy freight or operating forklift equipment when needed Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance and hazard awareness Join us as a CDL Truck Driver to enjoy a fast-paced environment where your skills drive success!
