Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while ensuring compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be the vital link in our logistics chain, responsible for transporting goods securely and on time, providing exceptional service to our clients, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following all Hazardous Materials Regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all trucking regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo handling activities, and route progress in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and freight management. Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning and real-time adjustments. Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods. Skilled in manual handling techniques for load & unload tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
