Commercial Driver's License Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport product to regional vendors and customers (no overnight travel required). We rely on our drivers for timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in our supply chain operations by delivering freight efficiently. Duties Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, shipping documentation, and inspection reports. Communicate effectively with team members regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or unforeseen delays to ensure smooth operation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Proven experience in commercial truck driving Familiarity with flatbed trucks and box trucks. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for truck driving. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks related to load & unload procedures. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures, freight management, and safety protocols.
