Job Overview We are looking for a CDL Truck Driver that will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting raw materials to manufacturing facilities and delivering finished products to our distribution centers located in Cleburne Texas and Archie Missouri and to customer job sites. This position operates commercial trucks, trailers, bulk pneumatic tankers, dry van flatbed Conestoga and specialized transport equipment while maintaining compliance with all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements. The CDL Truck Driver will also assist with yard management, trailer positioning, silo offloading, vehicle inspections, documentation, and minor equipment maintenance. The position requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, communication, and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing and transportation environment. Key Responsibilities Tractor-trailers, box trucks, and specialized manufacturing transport vehicles are safely operated. Transport raw materials and finished products between manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and customers. Move and spot trailers at loading docks and within confined yard areas. Manage yard traffic and trailer workflow as needed. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT standards. Maintain accurate driver logs, shipping documents, mileage records, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, dock supervisors, plant managers, and shipping/receiving personnel. Safely perform silo offloading procedures including Chalking wheels, Verifying the correct silo, Confirming the bin vent is engaged, Maintaining required PSI. Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Perform minor equipment servicing and routine maintenance tasks. Flush the water separator daily. Grease the PTO shaft twice weekly. Work scheduled shifts, local routes, home-daily routes, or regional runs as assigned, including overtime when required. Requirements & Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Required CDL endorsements based on assigned cargo, which include: Tanker endorsement, and Hazardous Materials a plus. Occasional overnights at plant locations or job sites for stock transfers. 6 months to 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving or tractor-trailer experience , depending on position requirements. Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination . Ability to pass required drug screening and background check . Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles and trailers in confined areas. Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and electronic documentation. Ability to safely perform silo loading/offloading procedures. Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety standards.
