Job Title: Commercial Driver's License Truck Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver goods across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) assignments. This role requires adherence to DOT regulations, efficient truck loading and unloading, and maintaining excellent safety standards throughout all operations. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of cargo. Load and unload trucks as required, following proper procedures to prevent damage or injury. Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation in compliance with DOT standards. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations during all driving activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Ensure the cleanliness and good maintenance of the truck throughout the shift. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including over-the-road (OTR) routes. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking. Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently and safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance records. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
